Need access to Canvas?

Most new students are provisioned an account in Canvas after they first register for classes in CAESAR. Registration for courses happens in CAESAR and that data is then passed to Canvas within 24 hours. Once that has happened, you'll be able to log into Canvas.

If your program has indicated that you should access pre-registration orientation/onboarding information via Canvas, please reach out to your program staff to inquire about your Canvas access.

Trouble logging in to Canvas?

Canvas is a NetID-authenticated system, which means most problems logging in to Canvas are either user-specific or an issue with NU Passport or Multi-Factor Authentication. How to view your courses in Canvas

Not seeing an enrollment change in a Canvas course?

All courses and enrollments managed in CAESAR are updated in Canvas, but updates do not appear in real time. If a change is made in CAESAR, it may take up to 24 hours to be updated in Canvas. Updates are scheduled to occur three times per day Monday-Friday and twice a day on weekends.
