Changing viewing permissions in Panopto

Availability

If you want to have any automatically recorded videos invisible to students until you’ve had a chance to edit, you will need to do the following:

1. Click on Panopto in the left-hand navigation of your Canvas site.
2. Click the settings gear icon in the upper right-hand.
   
3. Click on Settings and scroll down to Availability.
4. Once there, in the section Sessions become available, choose when approved by a publisher.

This will give you the option to edit the recordings before making them available to your students.
