Using Turning Technologies Clickers in Canvas
Turning Technologies: Point Solutions Registration
Students are required to register their account and purchase a subscription to participate in. A subscription must be purchased if the student is using a mobile device or the clicker.
- Log into Canvas
- Navigate to the course in which you are using Turning Technologies (also known as Point Solutions).
- Click Modules in the left navigation.
- Click the link for TurningPoint Registration System.
Note: You may be directed to enter your NetID and password. Sign on to continue.
- Enter the required fields to complete registration.
- If you have a device ID and/or a subscription code enter them in the appropriate box and click Register and/or Redeem.
- Click Finish. The set-up wizard will open automatically.
Student may also create a Turning account first and then connect that account to Canvas and the course(s) using Turning Technologies using the link provided on the Canvas page of the course(s).

Purchase or Redeem a Subscription
- Once your account has been established, you will purchase a subscription and connect your account to Canvas in the set-up wizard.
- If you have a subscription code, enter it in the field provided. Otherwise, select the appropriate subscription length.
- If you have a clicker, enter the Clicker ID in the field provided. You can also select that you will use your mobile device or purchase a clicker.
- You will then enter your payment info for your subscription and/or device and confirm your purchase.
- The green check mark on the next page will indicate you are connected to Canvas. If you are not connected, authorize your account to connect to Canvas.
- Click Next to finish the setup process.

I already registered my clicker for another class, do I need to do it again?
No.
Can I share my clicker with a friend?
No. Because the clicker is tied to your account, you must have your own clicker.
Do I need to purchase a subscription if I’m using the Point Solutions app through my phone?
Yes. You must have a subscription to receive credit for your participation.
