Turning Technologies: Managing Your Material

Learn how to download TurningPoint and create a registration link in Canvas.

Adding a Course from Canvas

  • Click on the Turning Registration System link in your course (you may be asked to enter your NetID and password)
  • The Turning Technologies web dashboard opens
  • Under "Available Courses" click "Connect" on each course you wish to sync to Turning Technologies.  The courses will move to Current Courses.

How to upload student responses to Canvas:

  • Open the Turning Technologies software
  • Click the Manage tab
  • Select the course
  • Click Upload Grades
  • Select the columns you wish to upload
  • Click Upload

Go into Canvas to check that the info appears in Grades.  IMPORTANT: A TurningPoint license is mandatory. If a participant does not purchase a license, their score will show as an asterisk in all reports within TurningPoint. Their score will NOT be exported to Canvas.
