Pearson Access
Pearson Access allows instructors to integrate existing Pearson MyLab and Mastering content with their Canvas courses.
Instructors should create or sign in to their Pearson account and prepare their MyLab and Mastering course first before attempting to pair their course with Canvas.
PLEASE NOTE: If you have used MyLab and Mastering tools in Canvas previously, you will want to delete old links and integrations before using Pearson Access to avoid confusion.
Adding Pearson Access to Canvas
Once the content is ready within your Pearson account, click on Settings at the bottom of the left hand course navigation and select Navigation in the top bar. Scroll down to Pearson Access and move the tab into the available area. Make sure to click the Save button.
Pearson Access will then appear on the left hand navigation. Click on the tab open Pearson.
From there, select the Pearson tool that will be used and follow Pearson's instructions for pairing your MyLab and Mastering course with Canvas.
PLEASE NOTE: Pearson assignments will open in pop-up windows. You will be prompted to follow Pearson's instructions to turn off the pop-up blocker in your browser for Pearson content.
