Mersive Solstice instruction video

- Laptop:
- First install:
- “Mersive solstice download”
- Download version appropriate for your OS (Windows, Mac OS, etc)
- Install and run Mersive solstice (enter placeholder display name if necessary)
- Attempt to connect to a display - this will often prompt you to give Solstice permissions like screen recording, file sharing, etc.
- Solstice app may need to be restarted multiple times as you enable different permissions.
- You may also need to go into device settings to make sure everything is enabled.
- Instructions for use:
- Select wireless on Crestron touch screen panel
- Wait for Solstice page to appear on monitor/projector screen - IP address listed on Crestron touch panel may not be correct
- Enter IP address (typically in the top right corner) into the search bar at the top of the Solstice app on your laptop
- Enter the screen key on the Solstice page when prompted to connect
- Select “screen mirroring” and proceed to test video & audio
- Mac users can additionally connect via Airplay, which will involve entering the screen key again when prompted
- Phone/tablet:
- First install:
- Download Mersive solstice from app store
- Launch & enable permissions as needed
- Instructions for use:
- Select wireless on Crestron touch screen panel
- Wait for Solstice page to appear on monitor/projector screen - IP address listed on Crestron panel may not be correct
- Enter IP address (typically in the top right corner) into the search bar at the top of the Solstice app on your device
- Enter the screen key on the Solstice page when prompted to connect
- Select “screen mirroring” -
- iPhone/iPad users need to swipe down and access the Airplay menu, where the Solstice display you are connecting to will appear
- Enter the screen key when prompted to enter a passcode
- Proceed to test video & audio
