Due to recommended security settings and in order to access the full functionality of Zoom, downloading the Zoom client (or app) and logging in through SSO is essential for a seamless Zoom experience.

Once you are logged in to the app, Zoom will recognize you when you start or join a Zoom meeting from Canvas, a meeting link, or by entering the Meeting ID in the Zoom app.
Connecting to Zoom
You will need a computer (preferred) or mobile device to join or host a Zoom session. It is recommended that you use a wired internet connection when connecting to Zoom, but it is not required - if you do use a wireless connection, it should be a strong connection.
You are welcome to connect your audio via computer or phone. If you have a weaker internet connection, phone audio might be the better choice. You may want to use headphones or a headset if you have any background noise.
